Oh no! Talk about crappy timing. I feel your pain - during our last heatwave (around 2 weeks ago) the A/C in my car broke. I didn't even bother doing anything with my hair. Just stuck it back in a headband and drove to work. There was just no point.
You are right Empress, it is a funny sad! Thankfully we have had some rain and today there is a cool breeze. My hair is a mess though Pamela. How can you blow dry, curl, straighten or make it look presentable when you are melting??? Thank goodness for ponytails and headbands!
Teehee...I giggled...that's not to say I don't feel your pain, cause I do! However, the mental image you managed to toss out in a simple sentence totally cracked me up! So glad you played along with our Friday fun!!
CTMayor- Once upon a time I wanted to be an English Major. Then, I tossed that idea out when I had to read 20 books a week (I decided I would rather read for pleasure and party more!). Maybe some of what I learned has paid off though, and my literary skills are improving! Thanks for the compliment. I only wish I was organized enough to post more. Like your house, there is plenty of material! Stay tuned......
that is sfunny. (funny sad)
